Story's birthday is this month!

If you would like to help us celebrate Story on her special day, we would appreciate a donation (no amount is too small) directly to Syngap Research Fund (SRF) to help find a cure and develop treatments for SYNGAP1.

Story was diagnosed with this genetic disorder at age 15 and because this diagnosis affects every aspect of our lives, we want to support SRF in honor of Story’s Birthday. SRF works to improve the quality of lives of children affected with SYNGAP1 while supporting their families. It has been a blessing for us to connect to this organization and all of the families living lives similar to ours.
Along with epilepsy and level 3 Autism, Story struggles with global developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, being non-verbal, severe behavior problems, and self-injurious behaviors.
Story loves her family! She loves to hang out with us, dance and sing with us, and playfully pick on her siblings. She also loves art, biking, swimming, and balloons.
